United Hospice believes in the importance and power of a supportive community.
United Hospice believes not only in supporting individuals – whether patients or their loved ones – but also in supporting the whole community during a crisis affecting everyone. Our team of grief counselors are uniquely qualified to answer the call from our Orange and Rockland County residents.
Crisis Intervention
When a tragedy strikes, United Hospice is available to step in with a Customized Bereavement Program. Our crisis intervention team will work with your school, business, congregation, or community organization to develop an individualized plan to meet your needs.
We offer:
- Up to 13 months of individual support
- Bereavement support groups
- Access to all of our services, including The Healing Hearts Program, which offers bereavement and grief support for children aged 4 – 18.
If you have lost a loved one and need support, please call United Hospice’s Bereavement Services Department at 845.634.4974 to speak with a staff member or email us at bereavement@unitedhospiceinc.org for more information.
